Comments for S. 2415 – EB-5 Integrity Act of 2015

On December 17th after the clean extension of the EB-5 Regional Center Program, Senator Flake of the Senate Judiciary Committee introduced the EB-5 Integrity Act of 2015 (S. 2415). Read the full bill text here.

The legislation was largely based off of the integrity measures in the bipartisan bicameral December Draft Legislation, although there are some notable differences. You can see a redline of those differences here (IIUSA members-only).

Economic Impact Data Collection: Send Us Your I-924A’s

We need your help expediting our data collection process so that we can commission our economic impact studies for the EB-5 Regional Center Program. These studies are the life blood of IIUSA’s advocacy efforts and we are relying on our members to guarantee timely reports for FY2014 and FY2015 data.

Why We Need It

924As are our source for data in creating our annual economic impact reports. Without the information from these forms, it would be impossible to produce a comprehensive report that is a powerful EB-5 advocacy tool benefits the entire EB-5 industry.

Economic Impact Data Collection: Tell Us about Your EB-5 Project(s)

In order to effectively target its advocacy tactics, IIUSA is compiling a database of ongoing and completed regional center projects, using the aggregate EB-5 projects data to paint a picture of how EB-5 is Working for America when IIUSA engages with Congressional leaders.

Why We Need It

With a strong enough project database, we can also add a section to our peer-reviewed economic impact studies that covers the leveraged economic impact that EB5 allows by attracting other sources of financing to a capital stack.

Respecting Your Privacy

Project information will never be specifically used without a Regional Center’s consent and will generally be used to create an aggregated database. Read IIUSA’s data sharing policy here.
