IIUSA Member Focus GroupsOn Tuesday April 24, IIUSA successfully hosted its second round of professionally-moderated focus groups. Nearly 30 IIUSA members shared their opinions on EB-5 policy reforms. The results of this deliberative process will inform policy deliberations at the committee and board levels in the weeks and months to come.

The purpose of hosting these groups is two-fold: 1) to ensure that our membership has the opportunity to voice their concerns and opinions about legislation, the current state of the EB-5 industry as well measure feedback about IIUSA operations and organizational makeup and 2) Utilize the results of the focus group study for policy deliberations and to replicate these focus groups on a monthly basis (May-July) to ensure a feedback loops is created between the membership, IIUSA’s Public Policy Committee and IIUSA Leadership and Board of Directors to come to a consensus on the industry’s most pressing and divisive issues.

At IIUSA’s EB-5 Advocacy Conference this April in Washington, DC, IIUSA hosted its first four sets of focus groups. The results from these those focus groups as a well as findings from our online policy poll and interactive policy poll during the meeting can be found in our comprehensive Member Engagement Report.

Results of the second round of IIUSA member focus groups will be available in the coming weeks.
