The latest data published by USCIS for the first two quarters of Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 (October 1, 2024 – March 31, 2025) on Form I-829 (Petition by Entrepreneur to Remove Conditions) provides valuable insights into the final stage of the EB-5 investors’ immigration process.
Key findings from our data report include:
- USCIS received 1,972 I-829 petitions during the first half of FY2025, maintaining a relatively high volume following the record 4,152 filings in FY2024.
- 2,531 I-829 cases were processed in the first two quarters of FY2025, with 2,380 petitions approved and only 515 cases denied, indicating an approval rate of 94%.
- The median processing time dropped to a record low of 8.2 months in Q2 FY2025.
- As of March 31, 2025, a total of 6,963 I-829 cases remained pending.
