A Look Back at the 15th Annual IIUSA EB-5 Industry Forum

IIUSA recently concluded its 15th Annual EB-5 Industry Forum, held at the beautiful Thompson Houston hotel — an EB-5 project itself — right in the heart of Houston, TX. The event welcomed more than 325 industry professionals and more than 50 sponsors for three impactful days of education, business development, and high-level networking.

Attendees engaged with a dynamic lineup of expert speakers who delivered timely insights on policy developments, industry best practices, and emerging trends in the EB-5 program. The energy, optimism, and forward-looking spirit shared throughout the event underscored the strength and resilience of the EB-5 community.

This year’s Forum featured several notable highlights, including the presentation of IIUSA’s I-829 & I-526 Awards, which recognized nearly 50 organizations from around the world—among them regional centers, law firms, and foreign intermediaries. These awards honor excellence, dedication, and the successful achievement of EB-5 petition approvals, exemplifying the highest standards of professionalism in the industry.

The Forum also hosted the first-ever EB-5 Basics Live! seminar, a 2.5-hour course designed to bring IIUSA’s popular online training module into an engaging, in-person format. Covering EB-5 history, terminology, regional center operations, the immigration process, and the role of economics, the course offered a convenient and comprehensive introduction to the program—especially valuable for those newer to the industry.

Outside of formal programming, attendees enjoyed several opportunities to network and connect. A welcome reception celebrated IIUSA members who joined since last year’s Forum, while a special evening event hosted by Houston EB5, the Forum’s host, provided a warm showcase of local hospitality.

IIUSA sends a sincere thank-you to all of our sponsors and speakers, whose support, expertise, and engagement helped make this year’s Forum one of our most widely-attended and successful yet. IIUSA is excited and optimistic as we look ahead to a year of continued collaboration, innovation, and growth for the EB-5 industry.

Stay tuned — the location for next year’s EB-5 Industry Forum will be announced soon!
